Often, and it matters more than exhibitors expect. Some organisers remove the dividing upright when you book two adjoining bays and some leave it in place, which decides whether you can run a continuous six-metre back wall or need two three-metre sections. Ask the organiser in writing before you order graphics. If the upright stays, design around it deliberately so it reads as a divider between zones rather than an accident.

Panels are usually the better buy. A single continuous print looks seamless but has to be replaced in full if it is torn, marked or if one message changes, whereas panel sections let you swap or reprint only the affected part. Panels also pack smaller and are far easier for one person to handle. If you do want an unbroken image, ask us to check that the joins fall away from faces, logos and other fine detail.

Think in thirds. A welcome and branding area nearest the main flow of traffic, a demonstration or product zone in the middle and a quieter seated area at the far end gives visitors an obvious sequence to follow. Avoid placing the counter centrally, since it becomes a barrier in the busiest part of the stand. Check which direction visitors arrive from on the floor plan and orient the sequence accordingly.

A corner plot doubles your exposure and halves your wall. Resist building a solid wall along the aisle side, because it turns the open frontage into a corridor; use a low counter or a partial-height element instead so sightlines stay open. Make sure branding reads from both approaches rather than only from the front, and treat the corner itself as the prime position for your logo. Ask us for a 2D mockup viewed from both aisles before you approve the design.

Three metres of depth does not leave room for a walk-in store, so plan a lockable counter or a small cupboard built into the back wall line instead. Everything you bring — coats, boxes, spare literature, water — needs a home, or it ends up stacked visibly on the floor. Measure what you actually plan to bring rather than guessing, and remember that empty transport cases usually have to be removed from the hall by the organiser's contractor during the show.

Do not centre everything. From most viewing positions a visitor only sees part of a six-metre run at once, so repeat your logo at both ends and keep your core proposition in a horizontal band at standing eye level. Leave the top third for large, simple messaging that reads from across the hall, and keep fine print off the fabric altogether. Two is the realistic answer for a six-metre wall, even though the connections are tool-free. One person can assemble the frame sections, but lifting a six-metre structure upright and sliding tensioned fabric over it without twisting is much easier in pairs. Dry-build the kit once at your own premises before the show so your crew has seen it assembled before they are working to a deadline in a busy hall like Olympia London.

UK delivery is free and the kit arrives packed by section rather than as a single crate. Open everything on arrival and check the graphics against your approved proof for colour and content, then count the frame parts against the packing list while there is still time to act. Do not send the delivery straight to the venue unless you have confirmed the organiser accepts advance consignments — most halls only receive goods during a set window and will not store them.
